Bryan, a resident of Crystal Lake, is a telecommunications executive who has participated in national and international politics since 1999. In 2008 Bryan became involved in the creation of the McHenry County Young Republicans. Bryan enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing, camping and backpacking in his free time.

Erica Poremba is the Vice-Chairman for the MCYR. She has been immersed in the political life and Republican party since she was small. While working in education and earning her Doctorate she strives to not only better the Republican party but educate young people on the ideals of the party. She is hoping that the MCYR will continue to grow and strive for greatness in the county. She graduated from Elmhurst College with a BA in Political Science/Urban Studies in 2004 and received her MBA from American Intercontinental University in 2007. She lives in Woodstock with her husband Mike, her cat Porsche and her dog Enzo. She loves water sports, hanging with friends and networking.

Greg Austin, an MCYR member since its founding in 2008, is a longtime participant in college, state, and national political organizations. His interest in politics is driven by his passion for economic policy. Outside the MCYR, Greg works for a Chicago proprietary trading firm and is an evening MBA student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In his free time, Greg enjoys backpacking and other outdoor activities.

Salvatore Cucinella, Membership Chairman

"Salvatore (Sal) Cucinella has called Illinois home for 27 years and currently resides in Woodstock. The MCYR's appointed Sal membership chair in May 2009 with the hope of notifying our youth of important matters affecting our country. He also serves as a Woodstock Public Library trustee and was appointed treasurer of the board recently. Sal joined the MCYR's because he felt a strong calling to become more involved in shaping politics on the local level. He enjoys watching and playing all sports, the outdoors and spending time with his wife and soon to be child."
Robert Lee, Social Chairman

Robert (Rob) Lee has called Illinois home since October 2006. Active in the College Republicans in Colorado and Nevada, and veteran of many different campaigns across the country, he joined the MCYR team to help defend traditional American values in government and community. The MCYRs appointed Rob as Social Chair in May 2009, hoping to offer members an opportunity to build strong relationships as friends and colleagues. Rob lives in Crystal Lake with his two dogs, Jorge and Lily. He also plays soccer in Chicago, enjoys the outdoors, and spending time with his friends and family as time allows.

Jon Heideman is the MCYR Education Committee Chairman. Life long resident of McHenry County. Working on raising two young boys. Is a freshman in the Political Scene, Looking to educate why the Republican/ Conservative way is the Right way. Parishioner at Holy Apostles. Presently Works as a Foreman for G. Heideman Masonry, and running for Precinct Committeeman for Nunda 19. Free time is spent building and racing Snowmobiles, and enjoying all the Nature McHenry County and UP Michigan has to offer.
